Acapulco
Acapulco is a port on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Under the Spanish Empire it was the American terminus of the Manila galleons, which carried silver from New Spain to the Philippines and returned with Chinese silks, porcelain and other Asian goods. This route linked Spain's American colonies to Asian trade for about two and a half centuries.
