Anglo-Russian Convention
The Anglo-Russian Convention was an agreement of 1907 between Britain and the Russian Empire settling their rivalries in Central Asia. It divided Persia into spheres of influence and recognised British influence in Afghanistan and the neutrality of Tibet. It eased the 'Great Game' and helped form the Triple Entente with France.
