Ayudha dynasty
The Ayudha dynasty ruled Kannauj in the late eighth and early ninth centuries CE, when the city was the prize of the tripartite struggle between the Pratiharas, Palas and Rashtrakutas. Its kings Indrayudha and Chakrayudha were largely puppets of their more powerful neighbours: the Pala king Dharmapala installed Chakrayudha, and the Pratihara Nagabhata II ended the dynasty by taking Kannauj around 816.
