Nagabhata II
Nagabhata II was a king of the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty of northern India in the early 9th century. Around 816 he defeated Chakrayudha of the Ayudha dynasty, a client of the Pala Empire, and took Kannauj, which became the Pratihara capital. His reign renewed the long struggle between the Pratiharas, the Palas and the Rashtrakutas for control of the Ganges plain.
