Bab Zuwayla

Bab Zuwayla is the southern gate of Fatimid Cairo, built in the late eleventh century under the vizier Badr al-Jamali. Its twin towers later had minarets added on top. It is one of the three surviving Fatimid city gates and a landmark of medieval Cairo.
