Battle of Sanluri

1409 · 15th century

The Battle of Sanluri was fought in June 1409 in southern Sardinia, where an Aragonese army led by Martin the Younger, King of Sicily, defeated the forces of the Judicate of Arborea under William of Narbonne. The defeat broke Arborea's resistance, and within a decade the last Sardinian judicate was absorbed by the Crown of Aragon.
