Beatus of Facundus
The Beatus of Facundus is an illuminated manuscript of Beatus of Liébana's Commentary on the Apocalypse, copied in 1047 by the scribe Facundus for King Ferdinand I of León and Queen Sancha. Its vivid Mozarabic-style miniatures make it one of the finest of the Beatus manuscripts. It is kept in the National Library of Spain in Madrid.
