Blau (river)
The Blau is a short river in Baden-Württemberg that rises at the Blautopf, a deep blue karst spring in Blaubeuren, and flows east to join the Danube at Ulm. Its spring, the Blautopf, is the second-largest karst spring in Germany, and the town of Blaubeuren grew around a Benedictine abbey beside it.
