Brugg
Brugg is a small town in the Swiss canton of Aargau, at a crossing of the Aare close to its confluence with the Reuss and the Limmat. Habsburg Castle, the ancestral seat of the Habsburg dynasty, stands on a hill nearby, and the Roman legionary camp of Vindonissa lay at neighbouring Windisch. The town passed to Bern with the conquest of the Aargau in 1415.
