Bura
Bura was an ancient city of Achaea in the northern Peloponnese, above the Gulf of Corinth. It was destroyed with neighbouring Helike by the earthquake of 373 BCE and rebuilt on higher ground. A member of the old Achaean League, it was among the first cities to join the refounded league in the 270s BCE after its citizens killed their tyrant.
