Lysimachus

Lysimachus was one of the Diadochi, the successors of Alexander the Great, who ruled Thrace and later parts of Asia Minor and Macedon. He was defeated and killed by Seleucus I at the Battle of Corupedium in 281 BCE. The victory brought much of Anatolia under the Seleucid Empire.
