Burzenland
The Burzenland, Romanian Țara Bârsei, is a historical region in south-eastern Transylvania, Romania, around the city of Brașov. In 1211 King Andrew II of Hungary granted it to the Teutonic Knights to defend Hungary's frontier against the Cumans; they built castles and brought in settlers. When they tried to place the land under papal authority, Andrew expelled them in 1225.
