Camp de Tarragona

The Camp de Tarragona is a coastal plain and historic region of southern Catalonia around the cities of Tarragona and Reus, enclosed by the Prades mountains and other coastal ranges. In antiquity it was the land of the Iberian Cessetani and the hinterland of Roman Tarraco. It is today one of the functional regions of Catalonia, known for its farming and petrochemical industry.
