Castell Bank

1774 · 18th century · Also known as Fürstlich Castell'sche Bank

The Castell Bank was founded in 1774 by the counts of Castell in Franconia to manage the finances of their small county and lend to its subjects. It survived the county's mediatisation in 1806 and remains in the hands of the family, making it one of the oldest banks in Bavaria.
