Steigerwald
The Steigerwald is a wooded range of low hills in Franconia, northern Bavaria, Germany, between Bamberg and Würzburg. Its western slopes, overlooking the Main valley, carry vineyards of the Franconian wine region. Small territories such as the County of Castell lay along its edge, and much of it is now a nature park.
