The Chattahoochee is a river of the south-eastern United States, rising in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia and forming part of the boundary between Georgia and Alabama. Joining the Flint, it forms the Apalachicola. The Lower Towns of the Muscogee lay along its banks, including Coweta and Kasihta.
