Chur
Chur is the capital of the canton of Graubünden in eastern Switzerland, on the Rhine near the routes to the Alpine passes. Its bishops, recorded from 451, ruled much of the region until the Ilanz Articles of the 1520s, and the town led the League of God's House within the Three Leagues. It is one of the oldest towns in Switzerland.
