Ciliwung River

Also known as Ciliwung

The Ciliwung is a river in western Java, Indonesia, flowing north from the highlands near Bogor through Jakarta to the Java Sea. Sunda Kalapa, the chief port of the Sunda Kingdom, lay at its mouth and served the capital Pakuan Pajajaran upriver. The later cities of Jayakarta and Batavia grew on the same site, and the river still crosses Jakarta.
