Cosenza
Cosenza is a city in Calabria in southern Italy, at the meeting of the Crati and Busento rivers. As Consentia it was the chief town of the Bruttii before falling to Rome in the 3rd century BCE. The Visigothic king Alaric died there in 410 and, according to tradition, was buried in the bed of the Busento.
