Creek Town
Creek Town is an Efik town on the Calabar River in Cross River State, south-eastern Nigeria. Founded in the 17th century, it was one of the trading towns, with Duke Town and Old Town, that Europeans called Old Calabar. In 1846 the Church of Scotland mission under Hope Waddell settled there under the protection of King Eyo Honesty II.
