Darab
Darab is a city in the east of Fars province in southern Iran. Its predecessor Darabgerd, a circular walled city of Sasanian times, was one of the main cities of Fars, and nearby rock reliefs commemorate early Sasanian kings. In the Middle Ages it lay in the land of the Kurdish Shabankara.
