Person
Fadluya
Fadluya, or Fadlawayh, was a chief of the Kurdish Shabankara who served the Buyids of Fars before turning against them. In 1062 he seized Shiraz from the last Buyid ruler, ending the dynasty in Fars, and he governed the province for some years under Seljuk overlordship. After rebelling he was captured by the Seljuk vizier Nizam al-Mulk and put to death in the early 1070s.
