Dartmoor

Dartmoor is an upland area of granite moorland in Devon, south-west England, protected as a national park since 1951. It holds one of the densest concentrations of prehistoric remains in Britain, including stone rows, hut circles and Bronze Age field boundaries known as reaves. Tin was worked in its streams for centuries, and in the Middle Ages its tinners were governed by their own stannary courts.
