Dong Hoi
Dong Hoi is a coastal city in central Vietnam, capital of Quang Binh province. In the 17th century the Nguyen lords fortified the area with long defensive walls, the Dong Hoi and Truong Duc walls, which held off repeated Trinh offensives during the Trinh–Nguyen War of 1627 to 1672. The city was heavily bombed during the Vietnam War.
