Dulo clan

The Dulo clan was the ruling house of the early Bulgars, recorded in the Nominalia of the Bulgarian Khans. Its members included Kubrat, founder of Old Great Bulgaria in the 7th century, and his son Asparuh, who founded the First Bulgarian Empire. The clan ruled Danubian Bulgaria until the mid-8th century, when rival clans displaced it.
