Eswatini
Eswatini, known until 2018 as Swaziland, is a landlocked kingdom in southern Africa between South Africa and Mozambique. Formed by the Dlamini kings in the 18th and 19th centuries, it was a British protectorate from 1903 and became independent in 1968. Under Sobhuza II and Mswati III it became Africa's last absolute monarchy, with political parties banned since 1973.
