Giardini Naxos

Giardini Naxos is a seaside town in the province of Messina on the east coast of Sicily, Italy, below Taormina. It stands on the site of Naxos, founded in 734 BCE as the first Greek colony in Sicily, and an archaeological park on the Schisò headland preserves its walls, sanctuaries and street grid. Today it is a resort town.
