Guben

Guben is a town in Lower Lusatia on the Lusatian Neisse river. In 1945 the river became the border between Germany and Poland, dividing the town into Guben in Brandenburg and Gubin in Poland, where most of the old centre lies. It was known for its hat and textile industries.
