Cottbus

Also known as Chóśebuz

Cottbus (Lower Sorbian: Chóśebuz) is the second-largest city of Brandenburg, Germany, on the Spree in Lower Lusatia. It became part of Brandenburg in 1445 and later developed a strong textile industry. It is the cultural centre of the Lower Sorbs, whose language is still taught there, and is known for Prince Pückler's Branitz Park.
