Hada Chauhans
The Hadas are a branch of the Chauhan clan of Rajputs, who ruled the region of south-eastern Rajasthan named Hadoti after them. Rao Deva took Bundi in 1342, and a junior line founded the separate state of Kota in the 17th century. Hada rulers served as Mughal commanders and later governed princely states under British paramountcy until they joined independent India.
