Hamir Singh of Nabha
Hamir Singh was a Phulkian Sikh chief, descended from Phul and a kinsman of the rulers of Patiala, who founded the state of Nabha in the Malwa region of Punjab in the 1750s. He took part in the Sikh capture of Sirhind in 1764 and struck his own coins. His descendants ruled Nabha as one of the three Phulkian states until it merged into the Patiala and East Punjab States Union in 1948.
