Hohenzollern Castle
Hohenzollern Castle is a hilltop castle on Mount Hohenzollern near Hechingen in Baden-Württemberg, the ancestral seat of the Hohenzollern dynasty that later ruled Brandenburg, Prussia and the German Empire. The first castle was destroyed by the Swabian imperial cities in 1423 and rebuilt; the present Gothic Revival building was constructed in 1850–1867 for King Frederick William IV of Prussia.
