Hechingen

Hechingen is a town in the Zollernalb district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, at the foot of the hill crowned by Hohenzollern Castle. It was the seat of the Swabian counts of Zollern and, from 1576, of the Hohenzollern-Hechingen line, raised to princely rank in 1623, whose Renaissance court was known for its music. The town passed to Prussia in 1850.
