Htilominlo

d. 1235 · 13th century · Also known as Nadaungmya

Htilominlo, also called Nadaungmya, was king of Pagan from 1211 to 1235, chosen by his father Narapatisithu from among several sons. He completed the Gawdawpalin Temple and built the Htilominlo Temple, among the last of the great temples of Pagan. His reign was peaceful, though the transfer of land to Buddhist monasteries continued to reduce royal revenues.
