Humban
Humban was one of the chief gods of ancient Elam, in south-western Iran, worshipped from the 3rd millennium BCE. He was regarded as a lord of the sky and closely linked with kingship, and his name formed part of many royal names, such as Humban-nikash and Humban-haltash. Some scholars identify him with Napirisha, 'the great god', worshipped at Chogha Zanbil.
