Inkallajta

Also known as Incallajta

Inkallajta is an Inca archaeological site in the Cochabamba Department of Bolivia, on the eastern frontier of the empire, built in the late 15th century. Its walled complex includes one of the largest roofed halls, or kallanka, of the Inca world. It served as a fortress and administrative centre facing the peoples of the eastern lowlands.
