Jæren
Jæren is a flat coastal district of Rogaland in south-western Norway, south of Stavanger. Its fertile farmland made it one of Norway's richest agricultural areas from prehistoric times, and it is known for its long sandy beaches, its stone walls and its many Iron Age burial mounds.
