Jiangling
Jiangling is an ancient city on the north bank of the Yangtze in Hubei, China, now part of Jingzhou. Close to the old Chu capital of Ying, it was the seat of Nan commandery under the Qin and Han, the capital of the Liang dynasty under Emperor Yuan until Western Wei sacked it in 554, and later the capital of the Jingnan kingdom of the Ten Kingdoms period. Its Ming-era walls survive.
