Jihlava

Also known as Iglau

Jihlava is a city in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands of the Czech Republic, on the historic border between Bohemia and Moravia. It grew into a royal town in the 13th century after silver was found there, becoming one of the richest towns of the Czech lands, and its mining law influenced mining codes across central Europe. The composer Gustav Mahler grew up there.
