Jordanes
Jordanes was a 6th-century Roman historian of Gothic descent writing in Constantinople. His Getica, completed around 551, abridges the lost Gothic history of Cassiodorus and is the main surviving account of the origins and early history of the Goths. He also wrote a short history of Rome known as the Romana.
