Kassel
Kassel is a city in northern Hesse, Germany, on the Fulda river. It was the residence of the landgraves of Hesse and from 1567 the capital of Hesse-Kassel, later the Electorate of Hesse, and from 1807 to 1813 the capital of Napoleon's Kingdom of Westphalia. The Brothers Grimm worked there, and the city is known for the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and the documenta exhibitions of contemporary art.
