Kot Diji
Kot Diji is a site in Khairpur District of Sindh, Pakistan, south of the city of Khairpur. Its archaeological mound gives its name to the Kot Diji culture, an early Harappan phase of the early 3rd millennium BCE that preceded the mature Indus Valley Civilisation. On a ridge nearby stands Kot Diji Fort, built by the Talpur rulers of Khairpur in the late 18th century.
