Indus Valley Civilisation

The Indus Valley Civilisation was a Bronze Age civilisation in the Indus basin, known for planned cities such as Harappa and Mohenjo-daro. It is generally identified with the land of Meluhha in Mesopotamian texts. The Akkadian Empire traded with it by sea through the Persian Gulf.
