Meluhha

Also known as Meluḫḫa

Meluhha was a land known to ancient Mesopotamians, generally identified with the Indus Valley civilisation. It was reached by sea through the Persian Gulf and supplied goods such as carnelian, timber and other luxuries. The Akkadian Empire's control of the Gulf trade gave it access to Meluhha's products.
