Kotorosl
The Kotorosl is a river in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia, about 130 kilometres long, flowing from Lake Nero near Rostov to join the Volga at Yaroslavl. The city of Yaroslavl was founded on the headland at its mouth in the early 11th century, and the river linked the old Rostov lands with the Volga trade route.
