Lake Iseo

Also known as Sebino

Lake Iseo is a lake in Lombardy, northern Italy, lying between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia and fed and drained by the Oglio river. Its island of Monte Isola is one of the largest lake islands in southern Europe. The lake shores, with the Franciacorta wine district to the south, belonged to Brescia's territory in the Middle Ages.
