Lesser Kabylia
Lesser Kabylia is the eastern part of Kabylia in northern Algeria, a mountainous region around the Babor range between Béjaïa, Sétif and Jijel. Less isolated than Greater Kabylia to the west, it was home from the 16th century to the Kingdom of Ait Abbas, whose lords later led the Mokrani revolt of 1871 against French rule.
