Llanito

Also known as Yanito

Llanito is the vernacular speech of Gibraltar, an Andalusian Spanish base mixed heavily with British English through frequent code-switching. It also contains words from Genoese, Maltese, Hebrew and other languages of the settlers who made up Gibraltar's population. It is a marker of Gibraltarian identity.
