Llys Rhosyr

Llys Rhosyr is the site of a medieval royal court of the princes of Gwynedd near Newborough in south-west Anglesey, Wales. Excavations from 1992 uncovered the stone foundations of its halls and enclosure wall, the only such court of the Welsh princes to have been excavated. It was abandoned after the English conquest, and the site was buried by sand in a storm in 1332.
