Malchow
Malchow is a small town in Mecklenburg, north-eastern Germany, built partly on an island in the Malchower See in the Mecklenburg Lake District. It received town rights in 1235 under the lords of Werle, and a Cistercian nunnery established there in the late 13th century later became a Protestant convent for noblewomen.
